Contagious Magazine: D&AD

Contagious was lucky enough to head over to Olympia earlier this week to catch a glimpse of some of amazing entries into this year's D&AD Awards

The building was a-buzz with judges who had journeyed from across the globe to be involved - two Swedish judges whose flights were cancelled due to the volcano even hired a car and drove 23 hours straight across Europe!

We caught up with Paul Brazier, D&AD president who was chuffed with the outcome and commitment of the judges, saying: 'We've shown that even a volcano can't stop Judging from going ahead - an event that really showed the industry's commitment to D&AD, with people driving across Europe and changing their schedules at very short notice to be here.' Watch the interview above for his thoughts on the increasing amount of digital work and what that means for the industry.

The first set of results are available online now with further results to follow later in the week.
